The best granola cup I have had and where to find it!

Heading East up highway 50 we stopped in Placerville and found the cutest coffee shop! It’s called Totem Coffee. From its relaxing atmosphere to quality foods, this place is the perfect place to visit with a coffee date. They have coffee and delicious hot chocolate, teas and even local beers on tap. They offer a variety of small plate options that will satisfy your cravings :). Perfect for taking someone out on a first date or just hanging out with your friends.

It is located at 312 main street #104 in downtown Placerville.  You can parallel park on main street or park in the parking garage.

The shop is actually tucked in off of the main street and down this cute little corridor. The corridor is covered with beautiful textures of rock and brick. It gives you a relaxing feel immediately when you walk in.

There are a few other cute little shops within the cooridor so be sure to check them out after your coffee date πŸ™‚

I have been to Totem Coffee twice already and will for sure go again whenever I am in there area. They have a smaller menu but the items on the menu are very tasty! From savory to sweet options, salads and small bites. Everything is non GMO. There are also gluten free options. The food is organic and locally grown. My all-time favorite is the golden granola cup!

The granola is made fresh then baked into a cup where it is then filled with creamy yogurt and topped with fresh berries. It is absolutely yummy!! I also order their hot chocolate, it’s very tasty πŸ™‚ Even though I am out blogging about little coffee shops, the ironic thing is I don’t even drink coffee lol! Weird right? The coffee beans that Totem Coffee purchases are mostly purchased straight from the farmer. They have coffees from many different countries! If you love your cup of coffee and want to take some home guess what? They sell the freshly roasted beans in the store! All coffees and hot chocolates are made with coffee art! It looks so pretty when served to you.

There is can seating inside or outside in the courtyard. Inside there are a few tables and its very cozy. There is also this cute water and condiment station. The decor is so cute!

If you sit outside there are cute little tables with umbrellas to relax under. The atmosphere is so serene and pretty! You will definitely enjoy a bite to eat and your coffee/hot chocolate out there. If you get cold they even have blankets available to cover up! They think of everything πŸ™‚

They are open Sunday through Sat from 7am till 6pm except closed on Tuesdays.

Have you been to Totem? Do you have a favorite coffee spot?
