Hello and Welcome!

Welcome to my blog :).

I am so excited to finally be actively blogging and not just “thinking” about getting started lol! I must admit it has taken me 2 years! YES that is right 2 long years to finally get up the courage and confidence to do this. I have had my domain and name for 6 months and just finally sat down in March and decided this is it!

Blogging is the perfect fit for me! I have been a stay at home Mom for several years while raising three girls. I put my heart and soul in to keeping the girls busy and in the meantime I was attending college to get my degree. At first, I had always wanted to be an RN and even applied to Nursing school. While waiting to see if and when I would get in, my life as a mother became super busy and I decided that it just wasn’t the right time. Now I am soon to be an empty nester and have been contemplating going back to work. My husband suggested I find something to do from home so that we can take off and travel according to his work schedule. That’s when I decided blogging would fit into my life perfectly!

So what will I be talking about? Where will I be going? What will I be doing? Well, a TON! I will list some of the things below that will be on my page.

• Travel– I love to travel and go on vacation! I like places that my readers may or may not know about. I love finding new destinations and sharing my experience and tips for my readers. My very first trip out of the country will be this June! I will be traveling to Canada. I will be researching and posting the best romantic places to stay and adventures to do, as well as yummy foods. I plan on adding several travel ideas and places here 🙂 I will also highlight a few guest posts as well.
• Coffee Dates-Don’t you just love to find cute little coffee shops that serve up the best coffee’s and or hot chocolates? I do!! In this section I will be letting you know where to find them :).  They will either be local, out of town or even across the states. I will post their menus, cute décor and overall atmosphere. I will also highlight a few of my favorite items.
• Furry Fosters-Those of you that know me know that I love my foster dogs! I will be sharing their pictures, personalities and adoption information. I want to give you an insight as to what these dogs have been through before they were rescued as well as life after they find their forever homes. Get ready for some super cute pictures and even videos.
• Adventure-This is so exciting!! I love to find new places to go out and explore. I will be posting so much in this category! Day trips, hikes, favorite kayaking spots and places that are off the beaten’ path. Some will be full on adventures while others will be day trips with the family.
• Love stories-I will be married 30 years in June! What is that like? How do we stay together? Do we fight? All of that will be in here lol! I will also have lots of guest authors that have also been married for several years, and their advice on how to keep a happy marriage.
• What its like to…..-This will be a category where I will have not only myself but guest authors speaking about personal topics. Some of them may be very heart wrenching, difficult, sad while other stories will be very happy, inspiring and uplifting. By this I hope to allow my readers to realize your not alone in your situations.

I hope that this blog brings you joy and happiness as I love to share fun, exciting things that are out there in this world for you to discover!
