Being nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award was such a sweet surprise! It totally makes me feel like the path I have chosen to become a travel blogger is the right choice :). This is so exciting and makes me SMILE 🙂 I love Traveling, exploring, adventures, hiking, kayaking, family, camping and also highlighting personal stories from my guests. I am starting to become an empty nester and I wanted to find some kind of income opportunity for me that I loved. I love all of the above activities so I thought writing about them might be something others would want to read :).

I love talking to people and I LOVE sharing my ventures and knowledge with others. That’s when the name of the blog came to me :). The name Next Step Happiness is based on discovering ME. Who is Trudy, What does she like to do, What makes her happy and what feeds her soul? I hope that in my posts and inspiration that you can discover YOU! What makes you happy and motivate you to get out and live your best life and discover the world 🙂

I’m not going to lie it took me around 6 months after purchasing my domain name before I had the confidence to start my blog. Once I started to believe in ME then BOOM I took off with my blog lol! I learned how to create a web page (something that was not that easy for me at all!) and started writing.

Victoria is a blogger that writes about life and all of its beautiful, versitle colors. She is married to her true love and has 2 beautiful children. Here Are 7 Things About Myself 🙂

• I have 3 Adult Children and they are all girls 27, 24, 19. I love these girls soooo much!!
• I have 2 grandchildren. Granddaughter is 4 and Grandson is 3. They are sooooooo adorable 🙂
• I absolutely love finding new places and sharing them with others! Inspiring them to get out and stay in the places I have stayed, or try the adventures I am trying, or traveling to the places I am traveling!!
• I love animals and in my lifetime so far I have had cows, sheep, goats, turkeys, chickens, ducks, geese, dogs, cats, chinchillas, rats, and rabbits 🙂 I would still like pigs and maybe llamas lol.
• I have been married for 30 years.
• I love conquering bucket list items! One of mine was to learn how to drive a Semi truck lol Well my cousin just happened to have his 18 wheeler at our family reunion and he taught me! I totally took it out on the road and it was an adrenaline rush 🙂
• I used to be a really nervous flyer!! To the point of crying but my last flight to Canada I totally was comfortable 🙂 I did work on positive mind set and it totally helped!
